The information used for stories
Cinder & Puff uses a parent-selected child first name and constrained story choices, including an age band and selected preferences. We do not ask for child last names, addresses, schools, exact birthdays, photos or uploads, child contact information, or open text that could identify a child.
Parent account information
A parent’s email and account information are separate from a child profile. They are used for account access and story delivery.
Saved story memory
Child profiles may contain minimal saved story-memory callbacks for future stories. My Stories shows the saved callback summary, lets parents edit child-profile selections, and includes a Reset saved memory control. Parents can also delete a child profile. The current account experience does not provide a separate control for editing individual saved memory notes.
Story generation
Stories are AI-assisted using the permitted first name and selected story choices. The current delivery workflow uses automated text validation before stories are available in the parent account; a human review before every delivery is not currently verified.
